SONIC THE HEDGEHOG adalah filem versi aksi-hidup berdasarkan francais permainan video blokbuster sedunia zaman ’90-an daripada Sega memaparkan landak biru daripada dimensi lain. Filem ini mengikuti pengembaraan Sonic menghadapi kerumitan hidup barunya di Bumi sambil mengelak anasir jahat Dr. Robotnik yang ingin mendominasi dunia!
- Bagi pelakon Jim Carrey, watak Dr. Robotnik memberi peluang kepada ikon ini untuk kembali kepada akar-umbi komedinya, “(Allowed me to) hit that absurd energy that people really love –and the vibe of films like ACE VENTURE: PRIVATE EYE, THE MASK, dan DUMB AND DUMBER.
