Sejurus selepas pandang pertama pelakon Timothée Chalamet daripada filem DUNE diperlihatkan oleh majalah Vanity Fair, logo rasmi adaptasi Sci Fi blokbuster oleh pengarah tersohor Denis Villeneuve (ARRIVAL, BLADE RUNNER 2049) tertiris!
- Logo terbaru ini didedahkan melalui akaun Twitter rasmi @dunemovie hari ini, sejurus selepas pandang pertama Vanity Fair ditularkan.
- Elemen utama untuk logo rasmi ini adalah gerhana matahari yang mungkin membayangkan planet padang pasir Arakkis – di mana kebanyakan peristiwa di dalam filem Sci Fi epik ini berlaku.
- Walaupun kebanyakkan kaver novel legenda tahun 1965 oleh penulis Frank Herbert memfokuskan kepada cacing gergasi padang pasir daripada Arakkis – namun kami berharap ia akan digunakan di dalam promosi filem ini pada masa hadapan!
- Di dalam sebuah wawancara bersama Joblo.com pada bulan Disember 2019, pelakon Oscar Isaac mengesahkan bahawa adaptasi ini bukan lah untuk mereka yang ‘lemah semangat’:
“I couldn’t imagine anyone more suited for the tone of the original Frank Herbert novels than Denis. There are some things that are — for lack of a better word — nightmarish about what you see… There’s just this kind of brutalist element to it. It’s shocking. It’s scary. It’s very visceral.
And I know that definitely between Denis and myself and Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson as the family unit, we really searched for the emotion of it. I’m beyond myself with excitement. I think it’s good to feel cool, unique, and special.”
