Asal-Usul The Duffer Brothers
Untuk pembaca yang kurang arif, siri televisyen Stranger Things merupakan sebuah homage kepada genre-genre filem yang popular pada zaman 1980-an seperti seram, sci-fi dan fantasi. Sejak musim pertamanya terbit pada musim panas 2016, siri televisyen ini telah memenangi pelbagai anugerah – termasuk 30 pencalonan anugerah Emmy serta 6 anugerah Emmy yang dimenangi.
The Duffer Brothers yang menulis, mengarah dan menyeliakan produksi siri televisyen Stranger Things sepenuhnya – sebelum ini berkecimpung di dalam siri televisyen Fox yang berjudul Wayward Pines, disamping menulis dan mengarah filem seram pasca apokaliptik yang berjudul Hidden untuk Warner Bros.
